Freddy Marquez was born in Barcelona (Spain) where he started his professional career at the end of summer 98, playing in the best clubs from Costa Brava – Lloret de Mar -such as; (Moef-Gaga, Bumpers, Xtra, or St.Trop), he was afortunate to share diferent nights with top djs, such as; Marco V, Tiestö, Dj Jean, Jamie Lewis, or Eddie Amador.
Also at the end of 98´s he was invited to play at Theatre Scape of (Amsterdam). In the same year he had the opportunity to play in Ibiza, at Space, one of the best clubs in the world and shared one night with DJ´s like; Steve Lawler and Joe T.Vanelli.
In June of 2000 he moved to Miami (USA), he played some gigs at Vivid, Beds, and Blue. At that time the electronic music was emerging, and influenced positively his career. After his experience in Miami he returned to Europe and decided to travel to London and absorbed up the whole club movement. With the suitcase full of music he goes back to Barcelona and plays in one of the best clubs in town on their moment (El Cel) with regular gigs in different nights.
During next years he lived in Ibiza through out 4 summers and he spent the winters in Barcelona. At that time he gets the opportunity to play in many cities of Europe, such as; Teathre Escape (Amsterdam), D-sade (Milan), XXL (Zurich), Prestige (Bern), il Pacha (Palermo), Le Nitro (Montpellier), The Drome (London), La Mania-Mamaia (Romania), Space, (Ibiza), La Terrrazza (Barcelona), El Cel (Barcelona), Menfis (Manresa), Ei.Bi.Si (Granollers), Pacha (Barcelona), KU (Benidorm), City Hall (Barcelona), CDLC (Barcelona), Budah Bar (Barcelona), etc.
After several years interested in music production, in 2004 he founded his recording studio and music production company called APM Productions, which also records & produces songs for other DJs and Partners worldwide.
Some of these productions and Vocal recording work have been licenced by; Warner Music (Spain), Sony Music (Middle East), Blanco y Negro (Spain), The Groove Society (Dubai), Clipper’s Sounds (Spain), Soleado Recordings, LW recordings (Uk) by Label Worx among others, and compilations like Juicy Ibiza 2014 (Juicy music), also top Spanish Compilations like: Pioneer The Album Vol.13 , Maxima FM compilation 2011, Flaix FM Summer compilation, also track of the week in World Dance Music 40 Principales (Spain), some of the most important electronic music radio shows in Spain, presented by Luis Lopez. From his studio he begun producing different House music tracks in all its forms. From 2008 to 2010 he climbed in to the BEATPORT Charts (2, 4, 10, 33) House &, Progressive House, with songs such as:, Are You Gonna Go , Money for Nothing, i Can Stop, or Sambalalele with Dario Nuñez and Oscar Cano, released by Soleado Recordings and Essential House. The ability to work with different styles of music, led him to think about organizing his music career better. In 2010, he decided to create the pseudonyms (a.k.a) Locadisco, Dirty Punks and Jack Lemon, to release different styles of electronic music combining his work as an Artist Freddy Marquez Dj/Producer Career, and owner of APM Productions.
